My name is Woody Martin and I am the only outfitter in this area that was born, raised and have lived here my entire life.

I have been pursuing the whitetail deer in the SC Lowcountry for the past 47 years. I shot my first deer when I was 11 years old. As an outfitter and former wildlife butcher, I have studied whitetail deer for many years.

I can tell you when our rut season begins, peaks and when it ends.
